Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 21, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Bestbona ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects information on the website bestbona.com and in our internal application, the Bestbona Keyword Tool (the "Tool"). The Tool uses the Google Ads API to retrieve keyword planning data.
1. Information we access through Google
The Tool is connected to Google Ads accounts owned and managed by our company. An administrator authorizes the Tool once with Google OAuth 2.0, using the Google Ads API scope (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords). Through this authorization the Tool accesses only:
- Keyword planning data: keyword ideas, average monthly searches, monthly search trends, competition level, top-of-page bid ranges, and device and location breakdowns.
- The Google Ads customer IDs needed to send these requests.
The Tool does not read Gmail, contacts, files or any other Google account data. It does not create, change or delete campaigns, ads, budgets, billing or any other settings in Google Ads.
2. How we use this information
We use keyword data only to research topics for our own content websites and to plan our own advertising campaigns. Our employees view the results in the Tool and may export them to spreadsheets for internal use.
3. Sharing
We do not sell, rent, resell or share Google user data or Google Ads API data with any third party. We do not use it for advertising profiles, and we do not transfer it to data brokers or information resellers. Data may only be disclosed if required by law.
4. Google API Services User Data Policy
The Tool's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. Storage, retention and security
- The OAuth refresh token is stored only on our private server, in a configuration file that only the application can read. It is never shown in the Tool's interface or sent to users' browsers.
- Keyword results are cached on the server for up to 24 hours to reduce repeated API requests, then they are replaced or deleted.
- The Tool is served only over HTTPS. Access is limited to our office network and to staff accounts with a password, and repeated failed sign-in attempts are blocked.
6. Information about visitors and staff users
- Cookies: the Tool uses one session cookie to keep staff users signed in. The public bestbona.com website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
- Server logs: our web server records standard technical data (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type) for security and troubleshooting. Logs are kept for a limited time and are not shared.
- Usage counters: the Tool counts the number of searches per staff account per day to enforce internal limits. Only the current day's count is kept.
7. Revoking access and deleting data
The Google account owner can revoke the Tool's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. After access is revoked, or when you ask us by email, we delete the stored refresh token and cached data within 30 days.
8. Children
Our website and the Tool are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The new version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
10. Contact
